baby go to the bathroom in the garbage can...that's how they potty
train here (although that was the first time I saw that route). Not
everyone uses that method but I guess some still do.
I've freaked the kids a bit about squat toilets. Today Ella drank soup
at lunch at a cafe and said, "oh I love this soup but I won't drink
too much so I won't have to pee.". Must not share my nightmares with
them...& it truly gives me the heebeegeebees to think about it.
Anyway, to encourage visitors, here's what the girls had for lunch.
Each box of sushi in this picture is like $3.5. That same size box is
$7-9 at HEB. :). Come get your sushi fix!

so with ella on the toilet thing. was determined to hold it if necessary and avoid using squat toilet. are you carrying toilet paper with you?
Hi Dan! It's taken me a few situations to remember but yes, I now carry these kleenex kind of things. Sammy used to get them all the time in Japan - they like hand them out for free. Now, we will use them as TP. :*) Poor Ella - she already has a thing for automatic flushing toilets and now I've created a mini-me-squat- toilet freak.
