pronounced "ba" and Aug is the 8th month so when you say "8/8" it
sounds like "ba ba" which us the Chinese word for father. Your

Today I have to do a mandatory health check in order to get a
residence visa. Sammy says they even do an ultrasound to check your
liver (fatty liver = bad cholesterol). Kinda nervous about going b/c
I have to take the taxi on my own to like Fort Worth from Dallas for
example. I'm hoping I can go to IKEA while I'm there...a chance to
shop without jet lagged kids-heaven.
Kids are waking up at 5:30am which is not bad. Gets bright much
earlier here...darker by 7pm.
