it's no where near as dreadful as the Wal-Mart here. It's spacious,
opened in Dec 2010, clean and gigantic - spanning two sprawling
floors. It's not my beloved Costco and it doesn't even have Charmin
or any US toilet paper but it does sell in bulk. The store Metro that
some have talked about, does not really sell in bulk and when it does,
it caters more to restaurants and business owners. I can see myself
coming here every so often. They even had Langer brand juice! Not
that we were huge fans of the brand but I love seeing brands I'm
familiar with as much as I love seeing Caucasian people! :)
It's spring fever here and a beautiful 74 today but according to my
app, it "feels like" 80 and it did! I was dressed in a tank as I had
just worked out at the gym. As I waited for the bus, you'd have
thought I was wearing a bikini! I got so many looks. The lady at the
fruit stand I went to later said, "Oh aren't you freezing?" Tanks are
probably reserved for August timeframe. :) Many people were wearing
either their parkas or sweaters and a medium weight jacket.
Well can't include too many photos as we lost our VPN, short silly
story. So I'll post a few later when I can have access to the real
world again!
