So we went back to the fake market or room rather to take a better look at their goods. They told us to call when we got there. We did call but while we waited, a new woman started guiding us (long story). As we walked to the area, we saw the woman we met last week, followed her and went into the store. While we were shopping in the store, new woman, plus last week's women, and maybe two men, were arguing. The arguing was so loud with so many people in a little 8x8 room. I was actually turned off by the arguing and was going to leave but my friend held steady so I stayed put. Later after we left, one woman escorted us out and nicely explained that because we weren't guided to the store by her personally, the other men and women wanted a cut of the commission. So they had a big tiff about it. The woman said she would've given us a "better price" since we had met last week but with the man getting so angry saying they had brought us here, they had to let him take a cut. Basically we did not follow some innate rules and protocols about how these markets work.
My friend came out with a really gorgeous Prada and Coach handbag and I got a wallet. I'm sure we overpaid but it was a necessary practice in order to learn how it all works. They also took us to another store with sunglasses, clothes, and UGGs. Interesting story about those UGGs and how they get it, where they are from and how they hide that they're UGGs. Even fake UGGs still are brought in with fake unknown name tags . . . I'm like they're fake? Why do you have to disguise a fake? So much to learn . . .
