I made it to see the "Avocado Lady" the other day. Oddly, it was such a sight for sore eyes to see some avocados . . . I bought 4. Yeah, not sure why I got so many but who cares! I didn't even ask how much they were. I had my eye on the prize which was to have chips, guac and salsa! Must be why I am losing weight here . . . none of these vices are easy to attain here. Below is a pic of the Avocado Lady's stall as they call it here. She had canned artichoke hearts (I guess hard to find here) as well as Canadian maple syrup, tortillas, etc. Apparently she often supplies to restaurants serving American food fare. That's the "Avocado Lady" in the photo too . . .
This is some of the items I picked up: yellow zucchini squash, avocados, canned artichoke hearts, mango, and a mangosteen (front). I have not eaten it yet but was curious about it.
Ella was also super excited to see avocados as she loves them . . . that's probably why I bought 4 . . . so she could have one and leave my stash alone.
Yesterday while I was waiting to pick up the kids at school, I noticed this woman's shirt. Gotta love these Chinese typos . . . makes life amusing.
Lastly, just a sweet pic of a hubby that travels WAY too much and his cutie girl!

Really? Sammy is traveling? I thought the move to China would do away with so much traveling...
